" '10' ... this is a great overdrive pedal, specifically for the early small-Fender-amp overdrive tone. It is victorious! ... A good overdrive pedal with a classic Fender type sound. Recommended, especially for the Strat/Tele player (sounds great thru a fairly clean tube amp)." Anonymous
"It is a simulation of what an older, smaller lower wattage Fender amp (4-15 watts) would sound like, at medium to high volume, such as tweed and brownface. The breakup is fantastic and the pedal is very versatile. I have not found a 'bad setting'. This is a great pedal in the respect that a Strat still sounds like a "Strat" (the nuance and character of the single coils still shines through (much like a Fulltone pedal) when the Tweed E. Dog ovedrive is engaged. This is a fantastic achievement for an overdrive." Gerrod K.
"The "break-up" is PERFECT! I don't know how he does it. The difference between the snarl and bite setting is like hitting the 2nd channel switch. It just couldn't be more realistic. Please excuse me, I'm giddy over the tone.I can Nail Dick Dale tones, Beach boys, Doors, Ventures, and the like with this thing and it really doesn't take much tweeking. It will color the Fender amp and/or nicely work with/drive the Laney. I've got tremendous versitility with it. As far as sound quality and usefullness with my equipment, I have to give this cat a 10." Tim
