"I imagine with a few other effects, it can get just about any tone from bluegrass to metal. I would replace this unit if lost or stolen. You wouldn't expect a pedal costing $50 to have a true bypass either, but it does. Can't be beat for quickly changing your tone onstage. I love it! Dick F

This company was bought by D'Andrea some time ago and the original engineer, Kenny, is back building them, so the previous review about the shoddy construction can be disregarded. They have their [stuff] together, again. I'm in a kicka$$ midwestern rock band. I would endorse this pedal if asked, it's that good. The other guitarist in my band (he went to Berklee) is going to buy one, cuz he really really likes it. We know what we're talking about - you can trust us.
